Building Blocks
Building Blocks is the signature project of the Digital Media team, launched in 2022, with a mission to equip undergraduates with essential digital media skills through a dynamic blend of theoretical and practical experiences. Over the years, the project has evolved to include online seminars on graphic design, videography, and freelancing, as well as hands-on workshops, design competitions, and physical photography trips, creating a holistic learning platform.
Recognized for its impact and innovation, Building Blocks has earned prestigious accolades, including the Most Outstanding Professional Development Initiative at the 34th Rotaract District Assembly Awards. This project stands as a testament to the creativity, dedication, and vision of the Digital Media team, fostering professional growth and inspiring a culture of excellence within the Rotaract community.

Term 2024/25
Building Blocks 3.0
Building Blocks V3 expanded its scope with a blend of online seminars covering designing, videography, and freelancing, along with a design competition to foster creativity. Additionally, the project featured a physical photography trip, providing participants with practical experience and an opportunity to enhance their skills in a real-world setting.
Term 2023/24
Building Blocks 2.0
Building Blocks 2.0, an evolution of the original project, focused on conducting online seminars to enhance students' theoretical knowledge, particularly in graphic design. This year's sessions included demonstrations of various tools, empowering participants to develop essential digital media skills. The project’s impact and innovation were recognized at the 34th Rotaract District Assembly Awards, where it won the Most Outstanding Professional Development Initiative.
Tee-Tastic
Tee-Tastic is a creative T-shirt design competition organized by the Digital Media team, providing students with a platform to showcase their artistic talents. The winner was rewarded with prize money and a T-shirt featuring their own design, which was also introduced as a club merchandise. Tee-Tastic celebrates creativity and entrepreneurship, encouraging participants to transform their ideas into wearable art.

Initiated by the Co-Directors of Digital Media in the term 2022/23, Building Blocks is a project designed to develop the digital media skills of undergraduates.
